Impact on Specific Behavioral Problems

Each Character GPS process step which guides one of the workshop sessions directly impacts two or more of the ten behavior problems identified by educators as hampering the learning process.

In fact, character values are so interrelated and so broadly inconsistent with negative behaviors that over 85% of the time (60 of 70 instances), the sessions are counteracting the tendency toward those negative behaviors, either directly or indirectly.

We believe character education really is the best approach to overcome behaviors that undermine the learning process. 

In the chart below, “D” represents direct impact of the process step on the associated behavior.  “X” represents an indirect effect.
